Learning beyond classroom walls.

At Heartwood Public Charter School our students learn beyond classroom walls, cultivating a love for learning and exploring academics within meaningful contexts. We utilize a Nature and Place-based education model, providing opportunities for students to build valuable relationships through experiential learning, outdoor play, and connection with nature. We believe that kind, self-motivated, and empowered students grow up to be compassionate, informed, and engaged citizens, who create resilient and healthy communities and become stewards of the natural world.
